Library Services

Mercer County Library is proud of the services it provides to Mercer County and surrounding areas to advance an enlightened community and enrich personal lives. Our basic services include:

  • Computerized library catalog to search approximately 20,000 volumes

  • Internet access on five public computers, printers, and word processing, spreadsheet, genealogy research and game software

  • Newspapers: Wall Street Journal, Kansas City Star (Sunday edition only), St. Joseph News-Press, Trenton Republican Times, Princeton Post-Telegraph and Mercer Mirror

  • Video tapes. audio books and compact discs

    New resource for public libraries which provides all types of practice exams & study courses for patrons.

  • Approximately 50 different magazines, including Business Week, Saturday Evening Post, Science News and Parents.

  • Senior Outreach Program to deliver and exchange books monthly at Bristol Manor, Pearl's Residential Care, Hal England Center, Oakwood Terrace, the Mercer Senior Housing and the Mercer City Hall.
