Join University of Missouri Extension Nutrition and Health Specialist Micah Potgieter for a free Food Preservation Presentation on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:00 p.m. at the Mercer County Library. Learn the basics of preserving food safely at home. Micah will cover freezing, dehydrating, water-bath canning, and pressure canning, along with recommended equipment and how to find safe, research-tested recipes. Handouts and resources will be provided.
