Programs
We offer Storytime every Thursday morning @ 10:00. We will have weekly themes, read stories, sing songs, play games, and make crafts. If school is not in session, there will not be a program. This program runs from September through April. We take a break from this in the summer for our Summer Reading Program. Tween Time is for grades 4th-6th, and it meets on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. The kids participate in a wide range of activities, cooking, crafts, and games. Adult Bingo is on the 1st Tuesday of every month in our meeting room from 10:30 to 11:30. Our Monthly Book Club meets the last Wednesday of the month @ 10:30 a.m. Grab a book and plan to join us! We observe the following holidays and are closed on: NEW YEAR'S DAY, MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, PRESIDENTS' DAY, LINCOLN'S DAY, GOOD FRIDAY, TRUMAN'S BIRTHDAY, MEMORIAL DAY, JUNETEENTH, JULY 4TH, LABOR DAY, COLUMBUS DAY, VETERANS DAY, THANKSGIVING (THURS. & FRI.), AND CHRISTMAS EVE & DAY. WE ALSO CLOSE DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP OUR PATRONS AND STAFF SAFE. THESE CLOSINGS ARE POSTED ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND ON KTTN RADIO. The Library Board of Trustees meets on the second Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting room.

Keep an eye on our calendars; we like to offer special programs, such as travel talks, crafts, or collection shows every chance we get. If you have an idea for a presentation, please get in touch with us; we would love to hear from you. Mystery books and other book challenges are also a fun twist we like to incorporate to introduce new genres or authors you might not pick up otherwise.
