How to get and use a Library Card

Use your library card to check out a wide variety of materials such as books, magazines, DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, and more. A library card also grants you access to databases and the internet.

How Do I Get a Library Card?

To apply for a Mercer County Library card, a person must reside or own property in Mercer County.  Proof of residency or ownership and a recent photo ID are required.  Proof of a current address in the form of a utility bill, bank statement, paid tax receipt, or insurance statement is preferred. 

Children under the age of 17 must have a signed consent from their parent and/or guardian, and said individual must have an account in good standing.
